Hiking, Offroading, & Just Fun!

We had our Jeep, Gidget, for less than a week and we were already taking her on an offroading trip to Big Bear. It was a rushed drive from Montana to SoCal but totally worth it to make the excursion with our close friends, the Bartoli’s.

Jimmy has been offroading in Big Bear since he was a child riding shotgun with his father, so he knows practically all of the offroading trails. He decided it would be best to go with a road that was not difficult for newbies like me and Leandra to conquer. We were definitely in for a surprise when in the first several feet there was very rocky terrain. As a first timer I was a little nervous about going over some of the large rocks but managed to make it through just fine.
